THE GAP IN THE MARKET
For years, riders had to choose: keep the traditional two-up tour pack configuration all the time, or change the tour pack mount to a solo-style mount and switch to a solo seat semi-permanently. It had to be one way or the other.
When Mark bought his Road Glide, he wanted something different. Inspired by his buddy Jack, who would spend a couple of hours changing his tour pack mount and seat every time his wife or daughter wanted to go for a ride, Mark went to the drawing board in 2022.
That is when he created the first generation of Dual Ride, a tour pack mounting system designed to move the tour pack forward for added solo-rider support while still allowing the bike to transition back to the traditional two-up configuration, all without changing mounting brackets or seats.
Four years later, after receiving many requests for a mount that would be compatible with larger, Road Sofa-style seats, Mark went back to the drawing board.
After thousands of real-world miles, customer installation feedback, and four years of living with Generation I on his personal bike, Mark knew exactly where the Dual Ride Mount could be made even better.
In 2026, Dual Ride Generation II was born, drastically redesigned to be more user-friendly, more adaptable and adjustable, and compatible with an even wider range of Harley-Davidson touring seats and setups.
